ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Emily is a professional Hairdresser with 14+ years experience and has recently opened her own salon. She came to me asking for branding as she was starting up her own business. She gave me the information needed and that she also wanted the logo to be delicate with some floral detail. I decided that due to Emily's experience and clientele, we should go for a rich and luxurious feel whilst also keeping it minimal and modern. We wanted to make the logo personal as Emily has worked hard to build up a name for herself, so we decided to go for a handwritten script font for the name part of the logo. Since creating Emily's branding, she also asked me to create a logo for her junior hair colourist Chanel with similar elements from her logo incorporated into something new. It was important for both Emily and Chanel to have these key elements built into the new logo, but also different enough to represent Chanel's own style and individuality.
